"EGO is an exciting new social networking game for your mobile phone and beyond! Getting started is easy and free! Set up a free account and start creating your highly customized super-avatar (an "EGO"). Once you've selected your starting EGO you are ready to develop your EGO, explore EGO city and make new friends.
EGOs are super-avatars. They have emotions, abilities and stamina which are affected by every activity in the EGO world. You develop your EGO by feeding, training and teaching him. EGOs also develop by playing, fighting, flirting, competing and communicating with other EGOs. EGOs can challenge each other to games and competitions to win social points to increase level and status. Gaining levels unlocks new items such as clothes, accessories, hair styles, and skin colors, and improves your abilities in competitions. An EGO's abilities, personality and health will determine their success in games & activities, and how they interact with other EGOs.

You can play the basic free version of EGO on the Web for as long as you like. However, to continue to develop & customize your EGO and unlock new features, download the mobile phone version of EGO to your phone from the game downloads section of your wireless carrier (current supported carriers are Sprint, T-Mobile, Virgin and Nextel). If your carrier or specific phone model is not yet supported, you can buy full access to the Web version of EGO with your credit card on our site at "www.ego-city.com"

What is EGO?
EGO is an exciting new social networking game for your mobile phone and beyond. Think of it as The Sims meets Facebook, with a big focus on games.
What is an EGO?
An EGO is your personalized, customized super-avatar. Your EGO has abilities, emotions and really cool clothing and accessories.
What can EGOs do?
EGOs can do a lot of things. They can eat & play. They can be scolded or praised. They can go out into the EGO world and fight, flirt, play, chat or communicate with other EGOs. They can do just about anything with other EGOs.
Can I play with my friends?
EGO was built to be a community-based game. You can add people to your buddy list, chat, post messages, blog and send messages to other people, all through your EGO!
What is the goal of EGO?
EGOs start out at a lower level of development (High School) and grow based on the way you treat them, and the way they interact with various types of EGOs. As EGOs develop and gain social points, they slowly unlock new "archetypes" which unlock the clothing, items and abilities for those archetypes. EGOs eventually reach an enlightened state.
Does EGO work with other social networking sites?
Yes. We are developing a variety of EGO widgets that will work with the major social networking sites such as Facebook and Myspace so that you extend your EGO experience to these sites.
Do I have to pay for EGO?
The first five levels and community features of EGO on the Web are FREE (the Basic Free Account). You can continue to play the Basic Free Account for as long as you like without paying a cent.
However, if you want to continue developing and customizing your EGO with a much broader range of items, and gain access to more features, you can do one of two things: 1) download EGO on your mobile phone by going to the games download section of your wireless carrier (see supported carriers) which gives you full access to EGO on both your phone and the Web, or 2) buy EGO just for the Web which gives you full access to EGO on the Web only.
Can I play EGO on my mobile phone?
Yes! EGO was first and foremost developed as a mobile phone game. Please visit the game downloads section on your phone and search for "EGO" for all participating wireless carriers.
What's next?
We will be launching new activities and games, called "clubs" over the next few months. The first clubs to launch will be "Fight Club" and "Love Lounge". We will continue to launch new things for EGOs to do. The possibilities are endless.
We will also be launching a virtual store where EGOs can buy clothes, furniture, pets and other items to enhance their experience. The items will be decorative and functional.
